100% Ajwain essential oil is a fragrant oil with a spicy, healing aroma, similar to thyme, and which has a rich history in Ayurvedic medicine. Traditionally used for treating digestive problems and to relieve toothaches. It has also been used as an antiseptic and as a painkiller (analgesic). Thymol which makes up more than 50% of Ajwain, contains strong, organic biocidal compounds that are antibacterial and antiseptic. 

Extracted by steam distillation from 30-70cm high Ajwain (Carum Copticum)
